COP27 – CDRmare is present on-site

The UNFCCC COP27 takes place from November 6 to 18 in Sharm El-Sheikh (Egypt). Scientists from CDRmare and CDRterra will be present. On November 10, 2022, for example, some of our experts spoke together in the German Pavilion on the topic “Pathways towards the achievement of the Paris Agreement goals and sustainable development”. The two research programs were presented first and an expert panel discussion addressed policy implementation, potentials, and scalability of CDR.

The German Pavilion at COP27, hosted and supported by the German government, will also give national as well as international stakeholders the opportunity to speak and initiate discussions.

The CDRmare & CDRterra Side Event took place on November 10, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:30pm (UTC + 2h) and was streamed. The recording can be viewed until two weeks after the end of COP27: https://www.german-climate-pavilion.de/live-programm/carbon-dioxide-removal.
